Syafana’s Mosque is designed for Syafana Islamic School, located exactly behind the school. The first floor is functioned as the parking area while the second and the third floor praying rooms. The storeys are designed to follow the hierarchy of the mousque which consists of head, body, and the feet.
The buidling itself is designed as a castle that has four towers in every corners with Arabic pattern as the skin of the wall. We also apply the skin on the inner court wall. It brings dramatic lighting in to the inner rooms as the sunlight gets in.

The inner rooms in the second and the third floor are rotated from the main form to direct the people to face the qiblat. The room between the building skin and the inner rooms creates a space that can be used by the users to get rest and informal activities.
